Power: EcoFlow does more

The DELTA 3 Classic puts out 1,800 watts, compared with 1,500 watts for the Jackery. That extra room helps with coffee makers, microwaves and hair dryers.

EcoFlow also has X-Boost, which lets some heating devices up to about 2,600W run at lower power instead of tripping the unit. It works for things like kettles and heaters, not for devices with motors or electronics that need full power.

Charging speed: EcoFlow is faster

EcoFlow is known for fast charging, and this model keeps that reputation: about 45 minutes to 80% and about 1 hour to full from a normal outlet, with no special setting needed.

The Jackery takes about 1 hour 40 minutes normally. It can reach about 1 hour if you turn on Emergency Charge mode in the Jackery app.

Why it matters: during a storm, the power sometimes comes back for a short time. A fast charger can refill most of the battery in that window.

Outage backup: EcoFlow switches faster

Both can act like a basic UPS (uninterruptible power supply). Plug the unit into the wall and your devices into the unit. If the power goes out, it switches to battery automatically.

EcoFlow switches in about 10 milliseconds, Jackery in under 20 milliseconds. Both are fast enough for a fridge, router, lamps or a CPAP. For a desktop computer, the faster switch gives a bit more safety margin.

Weight and simplicity: Jackery wins

At about 23.8 pounds, the Jackery is around 3 pounds lighter, with a fold-down handle that makes it easy to carry. It’s also the most “press a button and go” option. The app is there if you want it, but you don’t need it.

The EcoFlow is heavier (about 26.7 pounds) and leans more on its app for settings and the full 5-year warranty (you register through the app).

Battery size and life

Capacity is close: 1,070Wh for Jackery vs 1,024Wh for EcoFlow, less than a 5% difference. You won’t notice it in daily use.

Both use LiFePO4 batteries, the long-life, safer type. Jackery rates its battery at 4,000 cycles to 70% capacity. EcoFlow estimates about a 10-year lifespan. Either way, both should last many years of normal use.

Which one should you buy?

Choose the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Classic if…

  • You like checking battery levels on your phone

  • You want two USB-C ports for phones and laptops

The bottom line
